A1 Mobile Car Detailing

DO NOT USE A1 Mobile Car Detailing if you are looking to have your car professionally detailed. The company website suggests a professional operation but the reality is so VERY different. The guy that arrived to detail my car didn't arrive in a sign written company vehicle, like the website suggests of a professional company. A young guy by the name of "Wez" arrives in a beat up car with a boot that looked like a tip, full of very unprofessional looking equipment. I had booked a full interior, exterior and engine bay detail. I was quoted $200.00 for this work to be performed. I was told the job would take about 2 hours to complete. After ninety minutes "Wez" advised the job was complete. I paid the $200.00 and requested a receipt. Wez returned with a folded receipt. On unfolding it proved to be a very dodgy receipt that lacked any detail of the work performed, or of the amount of money paid. Feeling conned I then went and made a detailed inspection of the alleged work performed. I was in disbelief at the unprofessional attempt that was made to detail the car. The seats were not simply damp, they were saturated with water, adding to the pain there were still stains on the seats."Wez" advise that despite his best efforts he was unable to removed the stains. The next day I applied a domestic fabric cleaner and the stains were removed. The internal door hinges and the rubber seals were still covered in dust and road grime, again "Wez said he did his best. I lifted the bonnet to inspect the engine bay ... not touched!! "Wez" said I didn't know you wanted the engine bay detailed. I said ... you took the $200.00 from me and that amount of money represented a full detail including the engine bay. On lowering the windows all the leading edges had grime around the edges. on opening the sun roof all the surrounding panels, workings and slides were untouched, they were still filthy, covered in heavy grime and leaf matter. I then requested "Wez" return a minimum of $50.00 due to the incomplete work and of the sub standard workmanship performed. " Wez" agreed but advised he would first need to discuss with the office. He further advised the office would then forward a cheque. After countless phone calls and emails my requests have been ignored. "Wez" advised it was out of his hands .... DONT SAY YOU HAVEN'T BEEN WARNED, A1 Mobile Car Detailing and "Wez" are a shame. They are far from the professional organisation their web site would have the unsuspecting public believe.

I booked a carwash and polish at half price through Scoopon deals with this company. The phone is very rarely answered. The guy they sent woke me up early in the morning because he couldn't use a melways, then arrived an hour late for the appointment. I had booked a hand polish package and he finished doing everything but the polish then said it couldn't be polished because it would take ages as the paint was in such poor condition. He then said I needed a cut and polish and another guy would arrive within 2 hours and it would be an extra $80. The other guy never arrived and no-one at the business answered the phone all day. I got a text message at 10pm saying sorry how does tomorrow soundat 1pm. The cut and polish guy arrived at 11am. Cut and polish in the end was OK but after paying $120 all up this was the same as their regular prices and took up my whole weekend leaving me frustrated.
