AAA Lucky Removal

My booking was for 3pm on a Saturday with a phone call to come at 2pm to confirm. At 4pm I followed up and was given an ultimatum – the truck comes at 6pm and I pay more … or no removalists. These people are extortionists that put people into vulnerable positions then try to extract extra money out of them.

Had a horrible experience with these guys over the weekend. Their prices are wrongly advertised on their website. Their call out fee is a flat rate at $65 and they charged $65 per hour with a min of two hours. They called three hours before they were expected to arrive to tell us they had to move our time an hour early so that they can take a last minute booking in the afternoon. They also said that if we decided to keep our booking then they would be late. I asked them how much later would they be but they could not specify a time. No apology was made for their last minute changes. The removalists who showed up were completely unprofessional. They were rough with our belongings and completely ignored our instructions throughout the move. Beforehand we lined up and stacked all our boxes ready for the removalists to simply come in and trolley out our stuff. We even set up a ramp, which we used to move in, so that they could easily roll in and roll out. Instead they decided it would be "better" to hand carry everything out of our house and then place it on a trolley before rolling it into the truck. This approach caused the move to take considerably longer than expected. We also made sure to label all our boxes and furniture for those that were to be placed in storage. When they arrived at our place they decided to put everything in our house despite the fact that our storage space was along the way. They later started arguing with my fiance about having to move the heavier items back into storage after she pointed at the labels clearly stated "FOR STORAGE". I felt that the removalists were deliberately dragging their feet to extend the move for an extra hour. If you're thinking about using these guys then I strongly encourage you to reconsider.

Its cheap but there workers are too slow wasting to much time
