Acoustic Cafe

I really did have 'the time of my life' the night I celebrated turning 50 years old. My very thoughtful children wanted me to celebrate it in a big way and I totally rejected the idea in the beginning. One day sitting casually in our lounge room my daughter in her attempt to persuade me showed me the site of two places she was hoping would excite me enough to agree to a party. It was an instant YES when I saw those guitars on the walls, the décor and the separate intimate spaces the place provides. It was a function of over 70 guests. The evening was perfect in every way for me and many guests contacted me afterwards to express their gratitude and compliment on the choice of venue, which was beautifully laced with candles on the night, and the ambience in the room was so comfortable. One of the highlights was having live music. Having been to Mics night on a Thursday night at the café I saw a guitarist perform which caught my eye. I asked if he would like to play at my party and he did and so did a Latino band. I danced others danced. They were all terrific. Ian and his staff were most welcoming, accommodating and polite. Without hesitation I would highly recommend this café. Liggia and kids.

Great food, warm inviting place with friendly host, courtyard and other semi-private spaces beyond the bar and music area. Open Mic nights you may see tomorrow's legends. Great place to try out your music, very encouraging crowd.

Ian runs a very friendly cafe (he makes a mean egg and bacon sandwich), with open mike nights on Thursdays. The place is also available as a party venue on Friday and Saturday nights.

Genuine value for money - great music events on Thursday evenings, fab place for a function.
