So much food to choose from, great take home packs and also great coffee. Great spot!

Dropped in tonight for an amazing feed - I had braised lamb shanks and my partner had steak, both absolutely melted in the mouth. Great wait staff, extremely friendly service!!! Highly recommended

Looks nice enough -- but the poached eggs are terrible. my friend and I ordered poached eggs, and they were totally overcooked, no runny yolks at all :( May as well have been hard cooked. They happily took our order back to fix the eggs, and when they returned, our eggs were AGAIN, overcooked and tasted vineagery. Yuck. didnt have the heart to send them back a second time, plus we were starving. good thing I like hard boiled eggs (but not as much as POACHED!).I wont be coming back here.

Thought I'd give this place a go for Saturday breakfast... wish I hadn't. I went to order and pay at the counter, and was charged $16.50 each for our $13 breakfasts. An innocent mistake, that's fine, so I pointed out the correct price. But instead of an apology, the waiter argued with me and said the breakfasts were all $16.50. I had to go and grab a menu to PROVE they were only $13 each. To top it off, the coffee was burned and didn't arrive until we'd nearly finished our food. I won't be returning.

Whether you sit outside people-watching on a sunny day or beat the chill inside with a copy of the day's newspaper, the Albert Park Deli is a great hangout. Order, give your table number, pay up front and sit til you're done - whenever that is. There's always lots of variety on the menu, mouthwatering cakes and the coffee is good. Right next door to one of Melbourne best bookshops too - the Avenue Bookstore.
