Where do I begin?? I was provided with the details of All Property Conveyancing when I signed up for my house and land package in July 2011. All Property Conveyancing claimed that my fees would be $600 so it came as a great surprise when I was not only charged $600 but had to pay a further $55 when my land settled... More about this in a moment... Firstly, I should have suspected something was astray when Julia Lombardi, from All Property Conveyancing, didn't know that I was eligible for a 20% discount on my land stamp duty in addition to the FHOG. I had to inform her of this, which I thought should be elementary knowledge for a Conveyancer. I was mistaken. Secondly, I spoke with Julia on Monday 28th May 2012, the day my land settled, she informed me that she would provide me with a copy of my Land Title. After several requests, I finally received a copy of my Land Title on Tuesday 14th August - 3.5 months after my initial request. In addition, when I finally went to Julia's office located on 34 Xavier St, Oak Park, to collect a copy of my Land Title, I noticed that there were several client files in public view with client names and addresses exposed. I would consider this a breach of privacy. Thirdly, when I confronted Julia about the extra $55 fee I was charged at land settlement for Rogers Legal Services that All Property Conveyancing employ to check over documents, she claimed that I was informed of this additional fee on the first letter I received from All Property Conveyancing. However, I had another look at the initial letter sent to me and there was no mention, whatsoever, in that letter that I would be required to pay anything to Rogers Legal Services. It was my understanding, all along, that I would be charged $600. Accordingly, I requested that I would appreciate being reimbursed $55, which Julia Lombardi conceded to do. Unfortunately, I made this request on Thursday 31st May 2012 and, after several attempts to request for the reversal of that payment, I have yet to see that happen.... Now, I have lost my patience... and I will NEVER recommend the services of All Property Conveyancing.
