Better than the reviews let on.. My partner and I visited this place with relatively low expectations after reading the reviews, but figured that if they were busy - it was a good sign. Our drinks and foccacia came out within 15 minutes and mains 20 after that. We only ordered house special pasta dishes, but were happy with the quality and price. We would come back again and recommend that you give it a try - even if it's just for the basics (pizza/pasta).

My wife and I waited 1.5 hours for our main courses to be brought out!! The managers explanation was, "we only have 1 chef on tonight and didn't expect this many ppl". I asked if there was anything he could for us such as discounting the cost of the meal in which he very rudely replied, "certainly not, no one tells me what to do in my place". As for the meal, we had pasta, it was overcooked, the meat was dry and chewy and the sauce tasteless! Take my advice and don't waste your time, or your money at Antonio's.

I always enjoy this restaurant when I go back to Echuca. Yes I used to be a local but I always like to go back to this great value restaurant. Great Pizzas and pasta and many speciality dishes. Also got a menu that changes. Sometimes the service can be slow but that's a function of the popularity. Book early or later if you are in a hurry! Susi the owner does a great job and works hard on getting the team right. Sitting outside on a balmy Echuca night is great fun. Susi and the team even grow and use their own vegetables wherever possible. You can't get fresher than that!
