Apollo Motorhome

This company is immoral and will totally rip you off, I returned it not quite full, THEY CHARGE YOU $5 A LITER TO REFUEL IT, Then it had a stone chip on the front of the vehicle.......$85 fee on the card straight away, Administration fee of $75, Demur rage fee $135, repair for a STONE CHIP $850 PLEASE DO NOT HIRE FROM THEM

Pretty good car, poor service. We had a small campervan for 10 days, drove over 2.000 kms, no problems, everything worked. The service, however, was the opposite. We booked the campervan online (in advance), we even filled in the online "check-in" form that was supposed to speed the administration up but still we waited for around 2 hours before we could drive away. They found out that "our" campervan was in a different car park, once they drove it in, they figured out it was dirty and had no petrol so they had to clean it and drive away to get petrol, really annoying. We got hired camping chairs for free which was nice but still 2 hours is a lot of time. The worst thing is the deposit money, we have been waiting for the refund to be processed for 4 weeks now. When I called them yesterday, they said it usually takes 14 - 21 working days, that is ridiculous! There is no way the refund process could take so long. I do not recommend, who wants to wait for his/her money for a month.

Think twice! We booked an Apollo campervan online five months before coming to Perth. Pick up time was set at 12.00 hours (noon). We arrived early but we were not being served 'because other people came first'. We had to wait for for more than 6 hours before we were finally on the road. The caravanpark where we wanted to stay was already closed for the night and there was nobody to let us in. The campervan itself made a terrible shrieking noise while driving (we could hardly talk to eachother) and we were not able to find out what the cause was.The electric kettle blew up the powerpoles wherever we tried to us it and it was sheer impossible to fill the fresh water tank. We had booked a full insurance coverage, but surprise surprise: 24 hour road assistance was not included. We spent 3 lovely weeks in WA without further trouble, but you;d better think twice before you book an Apollo campervan. We probably go somewhere else in future..

Thinking of getting a motorhome - dont go to Apollo! The list of problems was endless on our 2 week hire ranging from having to wait 2 hours for the vehicle to continual problems with everything in it, even the gear for changing the wheel was wrong. Seriously dont waste your money.
