Excellent coffee and a range of breakfast features worth coming back for, in particular the ricotta hotcakes/rhubarb banana bread combo, which is nothing short of astounding.

Makes really excellent coffee (5 Senses their own blend). Service is charming. Food is very good. Do not come during peak periods, however, as it can be quite a wait for a table.

The food here is sensational. Really good brunch atmosphere, friendly staff and good coffee.

The place is nice enough and the staff were very friendly. Prices are a little on the high side, but I don't mind paying if the food is good. Our cofffee was slow to arrive. Our food took over an hour to come out at which time 3 of the dishes were over cooked, dry and not palatable. 2 of the remaing 4 dishes were very nice, but the 2 eggs benedict were nothing to write home about. After our experience we won't return.

Always try to get into APTE on a weekend. Occasionally have to wait for a table but never too long. Staff are busy but friendly and helpful. Coffee, while slow is worth the wait. I've always been a big fan of a cafe that does all day breakfast. APTE does not disappoint in other selections though. Ever changing specials and great variety with cake/muffin selection. Best steak sandwich I have ever had hands down. Eggs benedict also never let me down. Courtyard is pleasant and inviting on sunny days. Inside can become crowded due to the popularity of the place but its not difficult to see why. Definitely my favorite cafe!
