Worst restaurant ever. we had a very bad experience and the owner lady was very rude and very restrictive. so racist as well.foods are very expensive, salty and unfriendly treatment from the owner..she ordered us to drink, eat and mentioned that we should eat dessert too....so demanding, she thinks that's the best restaurant in Melbourne.don't ever go there guys..... Person 2:- This lady's attitude was like we never eaten in a restaurant. She demanded that we eat more than $50 worth of food, if not she would charge $50 anyway. She lit candles in the other table with 4 people, there were only two of us in our table and no candles for us. May be our skin was bit too dark, but mind you that lady's skin was even darker. We been to very classy restaurant than this. But was never forced to eat more than our appetite. This stupid lady ruin our night out. Boooooooooooo

Really average 'Indian style' food dressed up with fancy names and contemporary explanations. The prices are more than twice than of comparable eateries with similar or better ambience. This place has failed to evolve with times and still stuck in early 90s with the belief that people will simply pay regardless of the innovative style of food, quality and taste and a hodge podge of a wine list. The lady that served us (perhaps the owner) appears too arrogant and pompous for a service-based industry like restaurants and reminisces about 'old days' when hers was the only sri-lankan/ indian place in a radius of 10 kms. I would suggest anyone considering at eating here to explore some great places that have better ambience, happy and cheerful staff and much better quality and original cuisine with half the prices.
