Aroma Bakery, 73 Langridge Street, Collingwood

I have used Aroma several times and my family is happy with the breads we have ordered. I find communicating by email the easiest and have had no issues with them at all. Their Banana Bread is the best. Happy to recommend.

I think they're poorer than the poorest of service. We had this voucher to grab 70+cupcakes for $80.00 and notified them a couple times before through e-mail because the phone is always engaged with no one.. meaning no one will answer. We notified (got OK replies) them that the cupcakes will be picked up first in the morning when the shop opened but the lady who run the shop in South Melbourne is clueless.. poor lady, but she's helpful and gave me what's in the glass display equivalent to the amount of money paidfor the coffee goers in the morning (sorry peeps). Not fair at all. They should close.

The food is absolutely atrocious. Made a large purchase for the whole family for the weekend expecting fresh, warm pastry and breads as per the advertising on the website. Instead I received completely cold, dry and semi-packaged (some of the pastry was simply lying in the box uncovered) goods that no supermarket will accept let alone a bakery priding itself on freshness and quality. Simply disaster - will never deal with them again.

This is truly the worst bakery/cafe in Melbourne. The hot food is awful and the same terrible menu day after day. The sandwiches are slapped together with no care and the options are not appealing. The coffee is mediocre at best. Worst of all is the service! The staff are never happy and are hopeless. Avoid this place at all costs.

This is a review for Aroma Bakery. A few weeks ago my husband and I were at the Preston Market when an Aroma Bakery delivery truck arrived and parked in front of us. After lifting the side access area we noted that a box of bagels had split open and several were on the floor of the van and approx half a dozen rolled on to the curb/asphalt. To our disbelief, the driver (cigarette in mouth) and a colleague picked up the soiled items, placed them back in the box and showed every intention of delivering them as usual. This is a health violation and simply disgusting. DO NOT BUY THIS COMPANY"S PRODUCTS because you do not know where they have been. They have lost my business forever and are obviously in need of training their employees to know better.
