Balgownie Estate Vineyard Resort & Spa, 1309 Melba Highway, Yarra Glen

It is great to be able to stay a winery and also have a great restaurant to dine at. There is an elegant menu to choose from. We both left very satisfied with our meals and with a full belly, it is nice to be able to sample the local wine and produce as the restaurant supports many of the local growers and suppliers. The first time we stayed at the Balgownie Estate was on our wedding night, the room was splendid and the people working at the Estate are very friendly. We love the view from the room! I also went to get some relaxing massage at the Natskin, which was a very lovely experience. The food at Rae's restaurant was really yummy too. My husband and I love sitting on the couch at Rae's restaurant which overlook the winery. Overall, excellent experience and these days we visit Balgownie Estate close to twice a month! Definitely recommended to everyone!

My Wife and I had our wedding night at this place and it was wonderful the people are friendly, the restaurant was amazing... now we keep coming back to talk about things that are important to us because this is definitely a special place for us. Thank you Balgownie for such an awesome resort.

Had dinner at Rae's last night. Food was perfect. Fish was well cooked and my wife had the pork belly which was to die for. Service was fast and efficient but not very personal.
