Barry Beckett Childrens Centre

I needed to put my eldest son into long day care when he was only 3 months old and we had no family support in the state. From my first meeting with the staff they were supportive and sensitive to my anxiety at this difficult time and we worked together to make the transition for my son and myself as easy as possible. He has developed strong, caring relationships with all the staff, many of whom he has now known for three years as the center has a very low turnover of staff. He is very happy there and we couldn't be happier with his development in this caring and stimulating environment.

My daughter has attended Barry Beckett throughout 2010 in the babies' room. I've been relieved to find such thoughtful and genuinely caring staff to provide the security, fun and cuddles she needs while I'm at work. They've been totally accommodating of her varying needs to bring comfort items and were fully supportive of her toilet-training even in the babies room. Highly recommended.

Both of my kids have attended Barry Beckett and I am sad that my baby is off to school and we will be leaving! The staff at the centre are wonderful and my kids have both formed strong relationships with them- even my school girl loves to go in and say hi and have cuddles with the carers she remembers from 2 years ago! The chickens and outdoor area are such a huge hit and the menu is amazing. Highly recommended community childcare centre.

After much searching, and largely by accident my wife found Barry Beckett . THANK GOD!! This is how childcare should be, permanent carers (not agency staff constantly changing) that build great relationships with the kids. Trees, lots of outdoor area, even a few chooks and lots of love. It's run on a not for profit basis so ALL the fees go back into the running of the centre. After we got over how excited our daughter was to get inside in the mornings (we suspect she prefers to be there than at home), we couldn't ask for more.
