Well what can I say could of just gone to the local pub and got better food and service...... meals were small over priced for what you got.....300g steak think they need a new set of scales mine looked like a 100g with a hand full of chips , there was only 4 of us and it took over an hour to get our meals and there wasnt that many people in the restaurant.....yeh you might have a nice veiw and nice furniture but come on please match it with good food and service and you might get a few more people there.... was there on a friday night about 7pm and there was a lot of empty seats after eating the food I can see why!!!

We went to the Belvedere Steak & Crabhouse a couple of weeks ago and had a great meal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely go back :)

I will no longer recommend this business to anyone. Short version, terrible customer service, bookings get taken but not recorded, you get dumped outside and ignored and some times you can't even get someone to take your reservation on the phone, you just get transferred numerous times. Long version/explanation: Mothers Day 2013 my father decided our family was going to the cafe for the Mothers Day breakfast. He booked a few weeks before, he confirmed the week before and on the day we proudly took mum there. We tell them our name (and every possibly variation) and after searching the book for several minutes they tell us we don't have a booking but they can seat us outside. We agree so mum can still have her breakfast, despite the fact that it is cold, windy, wet outside and inside is 90% empty. Staff ignored us all morning, and as it was so cold and windy outside, our food was cold before we ever got to eat it. Very disappointing experience. I emailed, explained the situation and asked for someone to call me. A week later, no email, no call. I phone them and ask to speak to a manager regarding it. They tell me someone will call me back. No call, no email weeks later. July 2013. Dad's birthday. I decide to book him in at the steak house for a birthday dinner. What man doesn't love his steak! I called the steakhouse number, asked for a booking. I got told they will transfer me to the relevant staff. I get transferred. And transferred. And transferred. After about 10 minutes and a good 8-10 transfers, I cracked it at the person on the phone and finally had my booking taken. Turned up on the night, seated no problem, lovely meal. Made up for the stuffing around. August 2013. I get an email "Join us for Fathers Day breakfast/lunch/dinner". I think great, and call to book lunch in the steakhouse as we enjoyed it last time. I was told "we need to transfer you to the events manager for your booking". Cue transfer. And another. And another. This time, I started getting short with each person. Each apologised and transferred me to yet another person. 35 minutes later and a minimum of 20 transfers, I ask to be put onto a manger. "Sure thing" they tell me. Transfer. "Hello, this is the Watersun Cafe, what can I help you with". I ask for a manager again, get transferred again and end up back with the steakhouse. Again. Three more attempts to get a manger later and I give up. I hang up, decide to go elsewhere for Fathers Day. I go to email a complaint as calling gets me nowhere. The only email contact available now is for the events bookings, so I asked them to pass it onto a manager. This morning, a manager calls me. He explains he "doesn't know what happened, any and all staff are capable of booking, I'll take your booking now". I explain I am going elsewhere due to the lack of service and he offers me a free drink if I return. I tell him I'm going elsewhere but thanks for the call.

A great night ruined by an ordinary steak !! I was actually impressed by the offerings here - wine list ,menu choice etc and staff ( all polite ,informative and efficient) - but the kicker - a really poor cut of rump steak which ( for just less than $40) was literally not able to be finished . Have tried to find an email address to give them direct feedback but it doesnt exist so will tell them next time - thank god for the Teusner Riebke Shiraz!!! My girls Braised Lamb Shoulder was very good

I would just like to give a big thank you to Sharon and all the staff at the Watersun Cafe for another great Mother's Day. We were there last year and again this year and we cannot fault the food or the service. Sharon and the staff go out of their way to make it a very happy and relaxed day for all the guests. It takes a lot of good organising to cope with the extra pressures on a busy day and keep everyone happy. Good job and thanks again for your great work. Karen from Samford
