Bendalls B&B Accommodation in Hobart

This is written on behalf of my parents .. Pam & Bob "Recently on holiday in Tasmania we found a gem in NewTown, Hobart. Heritage listed 19th Century colonial accomodation. Bendalls has been lovingly restored by Karen and. Roger with great attention to the smallest detail. Not too big and grand but quietly beautiful and comfortable, the tariff is very reasonable with free breakfasts and the added luxury of home preserves. Bendalls is situated high enough to have a rolling view over Hobart to the rocky face of Mt. Wellington from the up and down stairs verandahs. Shopping centres are within walking distance, and there are many and varied good eating places. The garden has been thoughtfully planned to complement the building and at the time is productive. We spent two nights at Bendalls in October 2010 and would definitely reccommend and revisit. The house has an interesting history and the rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Gracious hosts, a beautiful garden, and a great location. The breakfast provisions were plentiful; the eggs were devine.
