Biagio's Restaurant

Awesome awesome awesome! One of the best restaurants I've been to. LOVELY customers service, amazing atmosphere, and great food. A lot of love has been put into this restaurant. Would recommend to anyone.

This is an excellent Italian restaurant based in Niddrie. Attentive service and a broad range of classic Italian dishes makes for a nice night out (noting that this restaurant doesn't look like it is targeted at families with young kids). I have been there several times now and have been consistently impressed. I thought it would be worth commenting on Lisa's earlier review. Athough I can't comment on the "discriminating against children (especially with special needs)" claim, I couldn't disagree more on the food and service front. I have young kids myself and maybe La Porchetta -- only a few doors down -- would have been a better choice for dinner out with the kids (regardless of whether they have special needs).

My experience at Biagio's restaurant was terrible and disgusting!!! The food was awful!! The fish scent and taste was like foot odour, the ragu was nearly yellow and watery, like they didn't have enough and had to make more by adding water. The customer service was poor and uneducated. The menu does NOT cater for FAMILIES and Biagio's IS NOT a family restaurant, as it was confirmed to me. I was told that there are plenty of family restaurants on Keilor Rd and that Biagio's is NOT one of them. They discriminate against children and especially those with special needs like AUTISIM!!!!! The bill was abruptly given before tea, coffee and cake was ordered. I will never eat at this NON FAMILY restaurant again and I heavily advise anyone reading this review to go elsewhere...I was appalled by the bad service, lack of quality, poor food and the discrimination against special needs. Never again!!!!!

Was just in for a late breakfast and a coffee: food was delicious, waitress was accommodating and is one of the better restaurants on Keilor Road.
