Big Wave Surfing School

These guys are awesome! They are totally dedicated, very talented and got us all up on boards in no time at all. They are particularly great with the kids who are now all addicted! They are careful to go over safety too which is really important when you're learning to surf. I would recommend the Big Wave Surf School to anyone who wants to learn. They clearly love what they do! Brilliant!

My children loved learning to surf with the Big Wave Surfing School. Karl is only 8 and he is now standing up and turning and a few months ago he had never been on a surfboard. We are very proud parents. Glen is loving the freedom and also knowing how to read the waves and where not to surf. Pat and his team are very safety conscious and as a parent this is very important to me. They teach all aspects of the ocean from fitness and stretching right through to advanced lessons and make the classes so much fun the boys can't wait to go back every weekend. Fantastic! We had excellent tuition - Pat was very patient and calming when learning to surf. I would recommend Big Wave Surfing School. We cannot wait to travel out to Australia again and will be using them again.

Very encouraging instructors - I was standing up and riding waves half way into the lesson! There were others in the class, and we all recieved lots of one-on-one attention. It was brilliant, and I cant wait to go again. I would recommend this surf school to anyone, of any age!
