Bloomfield Walnut Grove

What a wonderful oasis this house and garden is. Whether it's summer, when the temperature is just that bit cooler than elsewhere, or winter, when the frosty mornings and the clear days are exhilarating, it's a wonderful place to stay. The generous rambling house makes you feel at home and like you could stay forever. It's a great place to share with friends for a house party or just to get away for some real recuperation. Andrew

Spoilt for choice at how to spend your time staying at Bloomfield. Relax on the porch with a book, curl up in front of the fire, play some cards, or have a How to Host a Murder weekend. Bring your bike and go for a ride. We walked the 9 kms to Beechworth and enjoyed lunch at one of the many great places to eat. I will definitely be back.

Bloomfield is a great place to relax. It 's set in Stanley 10 mins drive from Beechworth over the road from The Stanly Pub. The house is just the right setting for a comfortable and relaxing time for two to four couples or a family of up to 8 people. I have stayed many times and love to use the dining room and cook in the old country kitchen using the slow combustion stove.
