Nice modern looking restaurant with a good simple menu. My girlfriend tried the pork roll burger with chips and I tried the pappardelle with mushroom ragu and we both loved it. Pricing was reasonable and we'll definitely come back.

We ordered two vegetarian pizza's, which can be described only as bland! One contained under cooked pumpkin, the other a strange sour taste from the artichoke which was made worse by the poor house white. We have been coming for years and are surprised at the quality tonight. We are not going to return in a hurry, sometimes cheap is not got...

Came here with a voucher not knowing what to expect. Turned our to be very friendly and good value. Pizza #13, great with extra anchovies. Desserts are huge and also great value.

Nice feel and vibe, although I didn't really get the American feel. I was expecting American food or at least some American beers, but alas. Beers were bog standard, although the Bridge Road was nice to see. Despite this, the gnocchi with lamb ragout was really delicious. Tasty tender lamb, and delicate gnocchi. And the bruschetta was delicious, with lovely thick balsamic and frsh tomatoes and crusty bread. Even though the place was packed, he service was extremely fast. However, when it came time for dessert, a simple slice of toblerone cheesecake (which was boring and not that tasty) took roughly double the time of the main meal, even though it was already cooked and in the window. And the place was empty by then, so there was no excuse. Overall, tasty food, but slightly overpriced and crappy service.

Both my wife and I became ill on the way home after eating at Blue Train. Most disappointing the the seeming lack of concern by the manager and failure to make amends in any form. We have eaten at Blue Train on numerous occasions over the last ten years (or more) and have always been very happy with the experience. We will not be returning.
