BreakFree Imperial Surf, 72-80 The Esplanade, Surfers Paradise

I stayed in superior 2 bedroom ocean view apartment on 28th floor. Views is the best thing you get for the price you pay. customer service is good too. Condition of the apartment is bit old, sofas and carpet are dirty and full of dusts, rusted chairs and table in balcony, jammed doors and windows, no soaps etc provided in bathroom. But ocean views are magnificent and makes your stay enjoyable. they definitely need a good steam cleaning of their apartments though.

My young adult family and i stayed here during May 2013. My understanding is that this is a long standing establishment and to be fair it helps to have this knowledge so you are aware of what you might encounter. These units are so spacious, offering all the comforts of home and much more. Yes, there are the signs of wear and tear...however this did not defer us from having a great holiday. We had superb views both day and night, our unit was clean, and all the staff we met were absolutely wonderful, so polite and helpful. The sauna, spa, steam room, pool and bbq areas were a real treat after long days out sight seeing! Close enough to stroll down to Cavill, yet far enough from the hustle, bustle and noises of early morning racket. We weren't ready to leave but we are recommending to our friends and family. We know this will be a favourite place for us to return too:). Thank you again to all the great staff!!!

Great position, beautiful views but disappointed in the conditions of furnishings. Broken chair on balcany left us with only one, mouldy chopping board, mouldy shower in ensuite, dirty cutlery and ripped cushions. Desperately need to refurbish.
