Bundanoon Hotel

Non-ensuite room was basic but nice. The showers in the men's bathroom were MAGNIFICENT. Thunderous water pressure. There is also a guests lounge with full size billiards table in a room that is actually large enough for a full size billiards table.

I thought the hotel was a lovely old building, but the rooms (ensuite) were not up to the standard they should be for $130 a night. There was no mini fridge, no tv in the room, no clock, no radio - it was a real pub room for a motel price. We paid the extra $20 per head for the full breakfast, but were disappointed that there was only tea to drink - my wife asked for a cappuccino from the machine and after about 15 mins got a stone cold cup of coffee. I would expect better from the hotel as the southern highlands is supposed to be a great place to visit and stay. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Avoid this place at all costs! We are in town for a wedding and booked a room here. The rooms are seedy and dank like something out of thai opium den. When I told them that we would not stay there because of the state of the rooms, the staff looked at me dumbfounded.. the atm only dispenses $100 and takes about 45 minutes to perform transaction. the food is overpriced for a country pub and of poor quality + it took an hour for our food to come out. hotel is very run down, needs to be bulldozed. luckily we found a nice old hotel down the road called the Ravensworth, nothing flash but clean and accommodating for the same price.

Christmas in July! Not very Merry. $260 to stay in scabby rooms, share old poory maintained bathroom and eat over priced and yukky food. Camembert Filo Pie was greasy and pastry raw, roast pork and ham not enough, veges cold, potatoes overcooked, christmas pud out of a tin with packet custard. Piano player didn't even know carols. No Santa or prezzies. Very ordinary. had to share cozy fire with council workers watching noisy dvd!!!
