3/3 First up, a disclaimer. This is a local cafe. We've been coming here ever since we moved into the general area 6 years ago. Right, with that out of the way, the first recommendation. Try the Eggs Benedict. The sauce is just right. Not too thick, not too runny. Great flavour and consistency, and the chef isn't stingy with it at all. It's a simple dish, but so many places either do it differently (if I'm beind kind) or just plain don't get it right. Eggs Benedict, along with a Cabonara, are "yardstick" dishes that I usually order when I go some place new. And the Eggs Benedict at Cafe Diamonte is right up there. Add to this friendly service, a relaxed atmosphere, and good coffee - it's a great place to while away some hours on a weekend morning. Or any morning. Lunch and dinner are good, but hey, I love me a great Eggs Benedict!
