Cafe La Mer

My husband and I go there quite often as it is a beautiful location under the fig tree. Unfortunately when we ordered our 2 coffees this am we weren't told there were 50 orders before us. So we waited for 30 min and then I got up to check on the order. I was told rather bluntly that there were loads of people before us. When I mentioned that in the future they should advise customers if they are being snowed under and the wait should be more than 5 min for a coffee... I don't think they got it. They even managed to mix up our orders and tried to swap take away cups without having to redo the coffees. Not impressed. The coffees tasted nice though. Management needs to learn/train their staff on customer service and business processes though.
