Caltex Star Mart Southport

Brilliant staff! I have been a regular of sorts to this service station for several years now. Why? Because of the console operators that work there. Their willingness to help & happy attitudes make my weekly fill-up a pleasure. My visits are generally weekend morning fill-ups & or late afternoon bread/milk drop ins. The gentleman and young lady duo i am met with really do make my morning almost like a real-life breakfast radio duo. They always have cheerful smiles and happy personalities, they bounce off each other with cheeky banter that truly sets a great start for my day. If you're not much of a morning person like me, those two will have you smiling within no time. The staff seem to work very hard, sometimes i am waiting in the queue for close to a minute due to the business of the store. I can see the staff working as fast as they can to cut through the customers, they do very well for only having 2 registers when they clearly could do with a 3rd. The only real negative i could pass on is the carwash. It seems to be constantly breaking down, making me seek other avenues to wash my car. It can be a little frustrating having to detour several kilometers away on many occasions. The stores owner really needs to address this problem, it has been an ongoing issue for over a year from my personal experience. If it wasn't for the fantastic service here, i would not keep coming back.

If your idea of service is being sworn at by an old bald clerk for not being aware of the position of the night window, then this is a good service station, but unfortunately, I can not see any service in this service station, and will not be retuning again. The fact that everything there is expensive reinforces my opinion.
