Great installation & performance space.

A terrific, modern space that can be transformed to suit all needs, from quirky exhibitions to beautiful art installations to theatre. Can be hired for reasonable prices, depending on your needs and budget. The space is used really well, and also holds markets, such as Eveleigh Market, a farmer's market held each Saturday.

Carriageworks is an amazing space to visit and a fantastic venue. I've seen everything from contemporary dance to art installations at Carriageworks and always have a great time. There is something about old industrial buildings that have been lovingly repurposed that gets me excited. If you haven't been, then lookout for an upcoming performance or event and check it out.

Carriage works is an amazing venue, refitted into a theatre/art space from some massive train repair warehouses. When going to see a show you can also hang out at their bar and browse their gallery space before the show. They do some great events such as erotic fan fiction and hip hop Shakespeare along with some free performances and art.
