Quickly got our food after we ordered, very tasty and filling food. Always go there when I'm at Marion.

Terrible service and customer relations. For a place that was no where near capacity we were left for quite some time before I finally went up to the counter to order (assuming that's what I was supposed to do), then one of the service staff came over. We ordered our meals which were mediocre pub meals - Nothing special and somewhat overpriced for the quality. Many unused tables were not cleared the whole time we were there ~30 mins and yet one of the service staff tried to take a plate we were still eating off of. The 'Signature' salt and pepper squid was awful. Simply battered squid with copious amounts of ground pepper and salt thrown over it after frying. When i raised this with the manager he only defended his dish with the comment "Oh, so you're a chef then?" - I was quite insulted but quite frankly i could infact have done a better job myself. He didn't offer any sort of refund or reason for me to return - Which I never will. This was one of the worst dining experiences i have had in a long time.

Terrible service. Food is probably the same, if you ever get served. After being seated, had to get our own menus after waiting 10 minutes. Gave up waiting another 10 minutes trying to get a waiter to take an order. Understandable if it was busy, but it was far from it. Went next door to Spargo's, who had a full house. Waited 5 minutes for a table and had food in 10. I guess that's why they're busy.

Tried the laksa and is acceptable. Rather expensive $13.90 for lunch special
