I hired a car with this company as they were the only rental company I could hire from, being 19 at the time. He charged $3750 upfront as an underage insurance policy with the promise that it would be paid back to my account upon safe return of the vehicle. This was also documented in the physical contract he gave me. When I returned the car in the same condition I had received it in, I called the company to make sure they had received it and payment had been sent. He confirmed it had been sent and that I should expect it within 10 working days. 10 working days passed and he was no longer answering my phone calls. I ended up having to open a bank dispute and contact consumer affairs in an attempt to recover my money. It took over a month from the last date I should have received it for the money to be returned to me, and only after pursuing it avidly. This man tried to steal my $3750 insurance deposit and it was a painful battle recovering it. Do not hire from this company unless you want to risk losing a large sum of money. Also, there is no reason a bank transfer should take up to 10 working days. The car I hired was also unsafe due to the tyres not being in good condition, causing the car to skid going around gentle corners at 30km/h.

Had no hassles and they were helpful unlike other car hires we had but we only ever hire basic cars, gets us where we wanna go

They ripped me off! They charged me for an extra days rental without my knowledge after a complete stuff up at the counter and managed confuse me so much that I signed for it! I asked for a refund upon returning the car and was refused. They told me I needed to email them. No response to that at all, and no response when I phoned either. I would only use them again to pay for the excess and write the car off. Scammers they are!

They are one of the best car rental companies in Queensland, in my opinion. This is my third time renting from this company and they always have the lowest rates. On top of the low rates, I was given an additional 5% discount after I joined their loyalty member program. So far, I haven't had any bad experience with this company. I am quite happy with their service and of course their cars.

I paid extra to reduce my excess and they would not honour it, apparently my type of accident falls out of the guidelines and I was made to pay far more than the excess. The whole thing was handled very badly. Be very careful with this company.
