Smaller than the official air craft museum down by the port but certainly worth going to. I enjoyed this museum more than the larger one because it was less mainstream; the staff were relaxed and keen to help in any way possible. A good museum for children and adults alike as most of the planes are parked on the floor of the warehouse, staff don't mind if you touch the air craft and even provide assistance if you wish to sit in (some of) them! Plenty of useful info about the planes and other war time artefacts that should keep enthusiasts interested. The highlights of this museum are: >The CAC F-86 Sabre (Sit-in-able) >The Dassault Mirage III (Sit-in-able) >The Lockheed P-38 Lightening (Touch-able) >The Bell P-39 Airacobra (Touch-able) and soon an F4U Corsair. Cheap entry and great fun, a must if you're down near Parafield :)

I was there in May 2009 and spent a very interesting and enlightening day. For a military aircraft enthusiast like myself this was well worth the visit with the aircraft and artefacts each having their own story. Thoroughly recommend Classic Fighters Jet Museum and do prepare to spend a few hours because defintely well worth the time.
