Best holiday experience I have ever had!!! Me and my partner came here for a well needed get away and were amazed at the beautiful scenery! The cottage was immaculate yet had the most homely feel to it! Heike was a brilliant host and the donkeys (and camel) were just beaaauutttiiffuuullll! Such beautiful animals and such a different holiday experience. It's so nice to be on holidays in complete privacy whilst also being engulfed by nature. I'll definately be back, 11/10!

Breathtaking scenery, wonderful hospitality and the accommodation was amazing. Donkey experience was just fabulous. The very best 2 day break for all our family from age 5 to 85.

Have just returned home from staying at Destiny Boonah Red Cottage. There were six adults and it was the most relaxing weekend. We have all travelled extensively, overseas and within Australia, and all had to admit it was the cleanest accommodation any of us have stayed in. We will be going back, the six of us, and some of us with our families, children, grand-children, I only wish we could take our dog. That would make it perfect. We all gave the venue 11 out of 10, and would recommend it to everyone.

We stayed in the red cottage a few weeks ago. The cottage was clean, spacious and well appointed. The garden of the cottage was full of wildlife and has tremendous views over the rim. Heike's retreat is a wildlife-lover's dream. Wallabies can be seen at dawn, lorikeets and galahs come and cool off in the bird bath and there are a couple of possums who come to visit most nights. We even saw a koala one night on the way up the track. Heike is rightly proud of her land and if the offer of a tour is made, you would be mad to turn it down. Her many donkeys (plus one camel) are very friendly and love to be pampered. A big thumbs up from us - The Carter family, UK.

We're torn between telling others about how wonderful this place is and trying to keep it a secret so that it'll be available when we want to go back! We've now stayed in both the green and the red cottages, and thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay both times. In addition to the excellent cottages and location, the donkeys are adorable and the hospitality is second to none. Definitely very highly recommended for anyone wanting a lovely quiet time away... but please don't go when we want to!
