Discount Lounge Centre, 23 Anzac Highway, Keswick

I am not a happy customer, I would never buy from these people again and not encouraging any of my many friends to even look in the store. I purchased a lounge on the 1st September 2013, it is now the 9th of December and I was told today delivery will not take place until after Christmas. As for the staff welllll totally rude and not willing to help, none of the staff seemed to care at all. Iam a manager with over 70 staff to manage and if I had even a hint of my staff behaving like this there would be serious follow up, leading to formal counselling.

Purchased a Theatre suite from this company 12 months ago - delivery was late but we could live with that. Within 6 months of having the couch we started experiencing problems - stitching coming apart in different spots on all seats, recliner handles and triggers not working, foam collapsing and springs coming through the foam. We lodged a warantee claim and it took 4 weeks for someone to come out - they fixed the recliner triggers (apparently they break all the time) and took photos of the rest and a list and told us to wait 2 weeks. After 2.5 weeks no response so I called them - was told I would get a call the following week. Nothing so I called again to be told that someone would come out to fix some issues but not all of them but I would have to wait at least another 3 weeks. The manager was extremely unhelpful and refused to take ownership of the issues - I asked to speak to the owner and was told the owner wouldn't speak to me and that I could write to him. It may be unreasonable but I expect a couch to last longer then a year. Bad quality, bad customer service, products made in China and a terrible overall experience.

We bought our first lounge from them and the experience was very good, 25 years on I would not say the same! When the delivery did not arrive on time I had to contact them to be told it would be 5 weeks late, not a good start, when it was delivered the delivery people just left it in pieces even when I informed them I had just had major surgery and could not put it together myself. Then when a warrantee issue arose they were slow to come out, and only after the threat of consumer affairs getting involved did they contact us, now they have had the seat for 4 weeks and we have been informed they might get it back in 2 weeks, frustrating and very poor service!

I bought 2 sofas from Discount Lounge Centre, I would'nt go anywhere else. The quality and price are second to none

I WISH I NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN THIS STORE, its 4 days before Christmas and have still not revieved my couch that i was promised 3 weeks ago. When i call them, trying to see whats going on, i was given the attitude of a 16yr old and was told it was not her problem and was hung up on by the rude female dog that answered the phone in the Keswick store. NOT HAPPY!! the couches are sitting in the warehouse as i type this and still they cant deliver my couch before christmas. I called back and asked if i could have the number of the delivery company they use so i could deal with them direct but again i was hung up on! WTF! iv tried to find out if there is a head office i can deal with but came up with nothing. strongly suggest you shop elsewhere. we will be taking our money back from them and spending it elsewhere.
