This park is still operating and now goes by the name of Crystal Brook Tourist Park. It has had extensive refurbishments in the past eighteen months and still has some ongoing at the moment. A lovely bush setting close to the CBD with accommodation for every one. Come and stay and enjoy the refurbishments.

We stayed at this park for four nights and couldn't have been happier. I'm really surprised to read the bad reviews below!! The park is natural and beautiful, and the cabin we stayed in had just been redecorated and was fresh and warm and clean. The staff were also very friendly and helpful and full of local information. There was a lot of work happening at the park, with new gardens and painting and roads, so maybe the bad reviews are from before that work was done, but we will definitely be staying there again next time we come to Melbourne

I recently stayed at Crystalbrook Tourist Park and must say it was a wonderful stay, the trees are beautiful with all the birdlife and we even had a koala in the tree only metres away from our site.As we were visiting our daughter in Melbourne we had our 3 grand children for a day and the staff were wonderful letting them use the jumping pillow and heated pool free of charge. My wife and myself also enjoyed full use of the bus right out the front that takes you right into the cbd of melbourne cheap and reliable, overall we had a great stay and with the upgrading of the amenities and sites we had a wonderful stay.

I've been staying in campsites around Australia now for 9 months and this is one of the worst ones I have been to, mostly because the receptionist is extremely rude and she has no customer skills what so ever. The campsite grounds and amenities are in need of tlc, as its all seen better days. It was kept quite clean though which is the only good thing I could say about this place. The location isn't great either if you want to travel into the city. It's an hours bus journey away and the train station is a fifteen minute drive, so it ends up taking about the same amount of time. I moved to BIG4 Melbourne which is much closer to the city and really couldn't be any nicer. The best thing is, it's only one dollar a night extra!
