Over rated - very dissapointed ! Was looking for something special for friend and I, after reading the reviews I thought wow....and looking at their website it looked pretty classy. What a dissapointment - amateur service, way over priced food for the quality received. Lamb was overdone and dried out - sent the first plate back only to receive just the same - how can you dry lamb out when it is a fatty meat??? Over rated, better food in Newcastle to be had elsewhere for sure.

We had a wonderful evening we were greeted warmly. The staff was proffessional with fantastic food and wine knowledge. As the evening progressed the food proved to more then we expected with gentle bush flavours and desserts to die for. After wondering around the grounds and viewing the cottages on site we choose to book our next function at Quackers OF Ducks Crossing.

But we were bitterly disappointed by what they dished up,the meal was stone cold even after having them take it back to the kitchen, the staff were rude and argumentative, and the meals were very lacklustre and represented extremely poor value for money. We were also looking forward to staying at the resort but after the shocking experience at the restaurant we decidedd to go and eat elsewhere. Everything was frozen, and even the chorizo dip was frozen solid and the bread was stale and cold, served with an icy cold "rock"of butter. Having shelled out over 270.00 for the room and another 70 odd dollars for what we did touch, I left 340.00 out of pocket with an empty stomach, and a night out ruined. I wouldnt ever EVER, visit them again.!!! and would describe it as the WORST dining experience of my life.!!!
