Just quickly, In Response to the post regarding DR YUNG, knowing one of the previous workers there and showing them the reviews this was some information to help understand how Dr Yung operates ; the receptionist Do not refer NEW patients to Dr Yung, it is in fact the opposite. He has quite a large patient Data base, from previously working in Maroubra, and his patients refuse to see anyone other than him else and are happy to wait a few hours, Even queue up prior to open hours to see him, so staff cannot simply "put them to another DR", nor can they make appointments, he is allowed up until 60 patients in one full day, WHICH WAS DECIDED BY HIM, the receptionists used to try to limit his numbers per session but he Demanded a higher number per session.

Positives: always bulk bill. In the one practice I have had x-rays; ECGs, etc, never had any out of pocket costs. Negatives: dependent on doctors. I usually see Dr Pandit and unlike one of the reviews I have been happy with her, but some of the other doctors have been very brief and just want to get you in and out. I also have found I have had to wait up to an hour on more than one occasion - this is with having an appointment, and not being told when I got there how late they were running. A note on Dr Pandit - I have actually had the opposite experience of some of the reviewers - I will go in with something minor, and she has often referred me for extra tests etc.

Very bad experience with this medical center. Bad management of appointments. Receptionists are ok, some of them can be a little bit unfriendly. Believe it or not, a male Doctor ( I prefer not publishing his name for legal purpose) was extremely rude, as I am using my medicare to book him, but it turns to be that medical will not cover it my consultation due to it is a mva related, so he screamed at me " you need to pay for the consultation!!!, you can not use your medicare!!!" I am not medicare system expert so I was not aware of the issue, he can politely request me to pay instead of screaming at me. I can not believe in Australia's proud medical system, a doctor can be so rude and unprofessional! Plus, when he pick up his patients in reception, he will read out patient's full name, and use his hand signal you, which is not friendly as well. That event happened 2 years ago. I was thinking of letting a relevant authority to investigate this issue as I do not think a Doctor is supposed to shout at a patient for wrongly using medicare card (I already told the Dr that I can pay, but he did not listen, just keep shouting at me, and he returns me to reception with huge anger, and ask reception to charge me), but I was so busy with work and mva issue so I did not have time to make an official compliant.

Absolutely disgusted with the service provided for my grandfather. He is a veteran of war aged over 90 and the reception staff and Dr. Gopinath showed no courtesy in attempting to help him book transport to take him to the appointment. For all they cared, he may as well have missed his appointment. Judging from the other reviews on here, it seems as if negligence is part of the culture of this medical centre and I would recommend people go elsewhere if they are looking for a medical centre who actually cares about its patients.

Okay so my fiance is pregnant, we went there to see what to do next, the doctor (also the managing director) told us to do nothing and come back in week 16 for a blood test. In our ignorance we waited until week 12, went to see another Dr at Eastgardens and he said we have to book the hospital straight away and we've missed a chance to get a test done to check for disability in our baby. Totally negligent. On another occasion a different doctor there showed more interest in me signing the paper so he can get paid than checking the moles I was worried about. My advice; avoid this medical centre.
