Love the Erko. It is now much more the classic melting pot of the inner west - it was heading a bit too far in the RSL direction for a while. Tolerant civilised but still slightly laddish, it's the perfect spot to rendezvous with your mates on a Friday night. The food is ok with standard pub fair at good prices. They often have a feature beer with a nice cheap jug price of around $13!! :-)

Really nice ersko local. The bar is a grand old thing - check out the leg support on the thing, its ornate and beautiful. Great food and cheap good beers. Its an easy pub to hang around and its also family/kid friendly too. Food is also quite good.

Not a bad spot to meet for a drink, but the food is not that great. The beer garden and front seating are great though and many a jug-o-cider has been consumed here with laughs and catchups. I think pre-renos (completed mid 2012) the food was much better - nice big meals, fresh ingredients and cheap too. Since the renos, the menu has shrunk, the meals have shrunk yet the prices have gone up. Bit of a shame.

Popped in for a quick afternoon beverage at The Erski and the place grew on me. It's been half-renovated which leaves it in a state of mismatched charm. Nice staff, eclectic clientele, the only negative is that we were unable to eat there as there weren't any vegetarian options for my lady.
