Evil Empire Comics

What a great store! Went here on 10/07/13 and was blown away by the amount of comics, figures etc stacked all the way to the ceiling. I have been searching around for a store like this, this is not your average comic store that stocks all the same things that are only a few months old, they have back issues here dating back to the '60s which is a pleasant change. Highly recommended under the condition that you have a spare few hours, you'll need them!

First ever visit here today and just wow! This small shop is choc full of comics, figures, cards and more! The sheer amount of back issue comics is enough to wistfully waste countless hours sourcing through (my vice being Uncanny X-Men) and was happily surprised by the prices ($1.50 upwards!) Walls are covered ceiling high in boxed and loose figures and statues ranging from recent to vintage with a wide mix of prices attached. Sure it all seems a bit scattered and cluttered, but for this shop...it really works and adds to the experience of the place! I'll be back soon for more!

Huge collection of back issues, literally the most I've ever seen. I managed to find a few rarities there that I'd been looking for for ages, all very reasonably priced. Manager is very friendly and helpful. All books are in great condition, otherwise marked. The place is a little disorganised, but that ads to its charm. Also they don't appear to sell brand new monthlies, but it's always my first comic shop destination.
