Gym equipment ok. Needs more bars/plates for serious lifters. Unfriendly customer service at front desk. Too many policies that relentlessly try to keep you from terminating your membership, which can be very annoying.

Read their terms and conditions, once u sign up, it's pretty much impossible to get out of the membership, if i go to cancel my gym, I hav to make a appointment to see the consultant, and they make all kinds of reasons to keep u away from the consultant, the consultant is away/not free/fully booked, the consultant is here but doesnt have forms/the forms are locked today. even when u get to see the consultant, s/he is trying everything to lock you in, if you are sick, u need to provide medical certs, if you are in financial stress, well, prove it. if you move to another address, they will 'kindly' allocate another closest FF club for u. even though you have enough perfect reasons, they will brain wash u and confuse you, teach you to transfer your membership to another or intentionally doesnt let you complete the cancellation form and make you think it's done.so a month later when you realise they are still charging ur account, they claim you didnt assist them to complete the process or they say'sorry,i'm new,i'm not familiar with this form.'. last, you have to give 4 weeks notification time if you want to cancel which doesnt make sense at all. i wonder how much they paid to bribe the Consumer Association. FF is evil, while more and more Australians are becoming more and more honest, FF teaches their staffs how to lie.

Stay away from these guys if you can. They are there only to extract the maximum amount of cash from your pocket. Totally soulless.

Sometimes fitness first gyms are the only option, but if you have any choice at all - never sign up to fitness first. their customer service is terrible, they are expensive and they will do anything they can to lock you in for as long as possible.
