0/3 Our snorkel trip was to a spot off the northern shore of Hook Island, within sight of Hayman Island. The visibiliity was 3 metres at most. The coral was sparse and seemed to be covered in a fine silt. The fish life was scanty and nearly colourless and the experience overall was depressing. I have dived the Bunker-Capricorn Group and the Swains, so my expectations are high. This company did not disclose that the snorkel/dive location was not on the outer reefs, another 40km further east. Do not use this dive outfit before enquiring closely where you will be going!
