I hired a car - I looked for terms about returning the car tanked up, couldn't find it easily so i returned it with still about 95% gas. they charged me $30 and i'm sure of course they would have in very fine print somewhere that their fuel cost is bla bla very expensive. a normal toyota camry would take about $50-60 full tank? to charge me 30 for something that would cost 5 is not so much "good faith" is it? Other hire companies expressly tell you that you gotta return it full tank they dont just put fine print in a pamphlet. Personally think it's unconscionable conduct under ACL and the lady should've said something when I said i didn't fill it up. well its not my money and i half expected to be disappointed and I am.
