Higgins Hair Design

Went in to Higgins Hair Design with a dodgy haircut I hated and a botched home hair dye (not my finest week, I'll admit) and came out an hour and a half later with some lovely highlights, and a perfectly layered style that I absolutely love - all for a very reasonable cost. I travelled all the way from Canberra's southside to Higgins, having read glowing reviews online and honestly, I wasn't disappointed. Amie (the owner) was absolutely lovely - friendly and professional and didn't show any judgement over my less than gorgeous hair. I'll admit Higgins Hair is a far cry from a high-end salon but it is definitely the most welcoming I've ever been to and I have to say that I've never been given such thorough and attentive treatment, even at a high-end salon. I wasn't passed between multiple staff or left alone in a corner and forgotten about or rushed out the door at the end. Having my hair done by Amie was like having my hair done by a good friend. Really pleased with the experience and will definitely be going back. Highly recommended!
