Hilton Surfers Paradise, 6 Orchid Avenue, Surfers Paradise

Stayed for 6 days, the pools are fantastic and clean, not crowded. There's a gym and sauna as well, I didn't try them but they all look brand new. The room was really nice, modern and clean as well. The outdoor bar was a welcome surprise, didn't want to leave the place, but as this is about 50m from Cavill we did, really well placed, and 1 min walk to the beach. Eating at the restaurant was great but if you have kids and a budget there's a kebab shop on the other side of the road about 30 meters away, and a 7-11, and about 100 cafes and restaurants. ( I recommend Charlies Café on Cavill for breakfast, great meals, cheap, and never crowded) The room we stayed in had a kitchen which had everything but we didn't use it, however if we had a longer stay we could have saved on meals and cooked in. There is a Coles supermarket 2 min walk away. Right around the corner is the Hard Rock Cafe, ice cream places everywhere as well as bars and cafes, it's really right in the middle of it. Will be going back as soon as is possible.

Best service, but many pests

Words enough do not express my thanks to the entire team at the Hilton Surfers Paradise. Before staying for an anniverary, I reluctantly called the front desk as I wanted to know if it was possible to either upgrade the room or resteraunt, which was on a deal already heavily discounted. I was told that the rooms were already booked, and that the resteraunt meal was part of the package which I was understanding about. However, when I was asked why I informed them of how I was just wanting to make the day a little more special. Without any delay I was referred to a local florist and advised to contact reception on the morning of delivery. The breakfast exceeded expectations, not only in quality but staff actually did every possible extra touch they could. Our own private area for ambience was very thoughtfull and the chocolate strawberries were an amazing touch. You honestly seemed to want to make the day special, which not only did just that, it made the whole weekend. While luxury rooms, fine dining and amenities are expected when staying at a hotel of your caliber, the genuine courtesy and attention we received went far beyond what any of you were expected to do. The Hilton Surfers Paradise - FIX Bar, has an awesome atmosphere and the most amazing cocktails I have ever tasted! The staff are knowledgable and it s is a pleasure to watch them create a drink for you, served in gorgeous vintage glassware. Their extensive cocktail menu features a fantastic mix of both classic and contemporary drinks, some are also very theatrical such as the Nitro Punch which is a lot of fun for a group of friends! FIX Bar staff obviously work hard to bring back the true culture and craft of bar tending and they create superbly balanced cocktails - a craft which is sadly hard to find nowadays. I noticed that they also make a lot of their ingredients such as grenadine, ginger beer and reduced fruit syrups and foams - making it a true gastronomical experience. The bar food is also fantastic! FIX Bar is my favourite local bar and I highly recommend this bar for locals and visitors alike :)
