Kepala Pet Resort & Canine Country Club

Kepala Canine Country Club has been the answer to my prayers. Having only recently arrived in Melbourne, my dog really misses having a beach close by. In addition, after having extensive surgery recently, I have had to make sure that he is getting the right level of exercise but without overdoing it. Now we regularly visit the outdoor lagoon pool, where he can swim, retrieve his toys and have a lot of fun while building up his muscle strength again. The facility is well cared for, clean and has a lovely, tropical feel about it. The perfect place to exercise your dog in a safe, controlled environment, with so man activity areas to choose from. The lagoon pool is so much fun and while not having used it myself, I have watched other pets use the amazing indoor pool for rehabilitation and physiotherapy under the supervision of experience staff. I feel lucky to have such a wonderful facility available to me and at $8 for a swim for a single dog to have the lagoon all to himself (yes, I was looking for the "missing zero" too when I first called), it is really reasonably priced. One suggestion: put up a couple of more signs to point to the office / reception for people on their first visit.

Thanks again Kepala nothing is ever too much trouble and everyone really tries to help with any request. All my family use them and all wrapped with the place. See you in September for Rosies next stay.

Very disappointed with the customer service and communication by staff at this kennel. Despite clear attempts at keeping communication lines open prior to leaving the country for a holiday we were not informed of difficulties that our pet was experiencing during his stay. Information given over the phone did not match information given on arrival at the kennel - and it's too late to change arrangements when dropping your pet off. Arrangements made with the managers of this kennel about payment were not honored on pick-up. Disappointing, especially in light of other people's positive experiences. Will not use this kennel again.

My dog was always healthy, happy and clean when I got him back, the staff were always friendly and accommodating. I have now moved away from Melbourne and after having an awful experience with another kennel - I cannot rate Kepala enough. The pricing is a little expensive but well worth every dollar!

I have been using Kepala's cattery for the past 16 years. I have never been disappointed by the service, attention or commitment the staff have given. They truly love what they are doing there and it shows. I will never go anywhere else. The place is always clean, the animals always have access to fresh water and food and the cattery is NEVER smelly!! Unlike a lot of the other catteries/boarding kennels, you don't need an appointment, you can just 'drop in' to check it out. They have nothing to hide! Highly recommended!!!
