These people ruined by birthday. My partner and I rented two single kayaks on my birthday, hoping to enjoy a leisurely row in a nice quiet part of the river system. The environment itself is beautiful, and the river spot is perfect. However, the kayaks they supplied, after making us sign numerous papers (which we have never witnessed anywhere else renting kayaks for the day), were professional racing sea kayaks, completely unsuitable to the setting and to us. We attempted to use them, only to fall into the water quickly. I lost my prescription sunglasses during the fall. No other kayaks or any compensation was offered, a birthday ruined, 120$ flushed down the drain, a bad day for all. The business itself has a very bad atmosphere. While waiting for our kayaks, I witnessed an elderly worker who works with the horses getting yelled at by a young "boss" in front of many customers. Sad and embarrassing, please keep away!
