Otford Farm

Went on a camp there, food, rides and all activities were amazing. Each day was a different experience. I am not very good at riding a horse but by the end of the week I was a lot better then I was at the start.

Myself and my two children arranged to do a trail ride for my daughter's 7th birthday. She was so happy when she realised she could actually ride the horse. She loves them and they are one of her special interests (Aspergers). My 9 year old son took one look and would not have a bar of it. He is moderately to severely autistic. One of the riders stayed with my son and let him play games on her phone while my daughter and I went for a ride AND they refunded the cost for my son, even though he tied up one of their staff. Thank you so much guys. As a single mum with two autistic kids it can be extremely difficult to do, well anything. Sometimes we try. And sometimes it goes really well - when people like the staff at Otford Farm engage and offer support. We will definately return. Thank you so so much. The experience really made my daughter's birthday special.

A group of 24 of us from a bushwalking group, decided to try something different and booked horse riding at Otform Farm. We had so much interest in this popular sport and a long waiting list of people that wanted to come. The owner was fantastic in helping us organise such a large group, he constantly stayed in touch with us, gave us good options and made everything extremely easy and smooth. He even called us a few days earlier to let us know that trackwork was running that weekend and helped us coordinate our bus schedule. We had such positive feedback after the ride, the farm was beautiful and fun to walk around with great facilities and walking distance to the station and bus stop for those that couldn't drive. Everyone loved the ride! As most of us were beginners, the horses they allocated us were very gently and friendly. The leaders were fantastic and very nice girls that helped everyone along. The ride was so lovely and the scenery was amazing. We have had so many requests from the group to go back there again soon and especially from the disappointed people on the wait list that missed out, so we will for sure be booking more on a regular basis at the amazing Otford Farm! Great place and very well organised management and leaders.

We organised a ride with a few friends at Otford farm this afternoon and we were all thrilled with how it went. To be honest, some of us have ridden quite a fair bit before and a few of us could barely sit properly on a horse, so we were interested to see how the ride would pan out. We were very happy that those of us who were capable were given a few good opportunities for a canter while the rest followed behind. We had two guides, one called Louise and I can't remember the other ladies name. But they were both excellent, constantly checking on each of us and making sure we were OK. We also enjoyed the stories we were told along the way, about the property, it's history, the personalities of the different horses and experiences of the trainers (some quite funny). All in all, it was an awesome day. We were all given horses that matched our abilities and we all felt very comfortable. Thanks for a great ride, we'll be back =)

Otford farm is a great place to go for a ride. my niece recently went on a 5 day camp there and had a ball. The staff were very caring,polite and helpful with everything . The horses were very well behaved and picked for the levels of each rider. my niece and I absolutely love the scenery and the staff took the ride in a very professional manner and kept the ride to the level of our experience. will be getting my niece on another camp in the near future. wouldn't go anywhere else.
