Amazing luxury accommodation at this Pennyroyal farm stay property. Very private location with beautiful country views over the Otway Valley farmlands. More than just a cottage this holiday house is huge and indulgent with an interesting mix of traditional Australian farmhouse ambience and eclectic, arty modern decor and facilities. Loved the large fireplace, circular jacuzzi spa, sauna, extra rooms and 2nd bathroom! I was surprised by the size of the "cottage" and the quality / quantity of inclusions and extras. There were bathrobes, luxury bedding, beautiful take home toiletry kit, fresh flowers and a kitchen to die for. Huge gas stove! and absolutely everything needed for the gourmet cook - basic pantry items, full herbs & spices rack, auto coffee machine and more. Absolutely 5 star quality accommodation. Recommended for a secluded romantic holiday. Loved the area, the farm (a short walk to lake with Japanese teahouse and interesting art displays near hosts house). Very close to Lorne, Great Ocean Road, Otway Ranges forest, waterfalls, 4x4 tracks and interesting little towns of Pennyroyal, Deans Marsh and Birregurra. Made a quick escape from Melbourne via Princes Hwy. Winchelsea and drove back via Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road drive. Just perfect weekend here!
