Agree with Harry's comment (below). Perhaps late on a weeknight it would be nice but it is incredibly packed on weekends. You book ahead, they say they have limited numbers but it is so very packed in both areas. Some pools full and people just sit there for up to an hour and don't share. And yes the locals yell and scream at each other, the voices trail up the hill, it is very frustrating! Booked a private session too for $160 for two but the public area is a very short distance nearby and the older crowd were yelling out so loud we could hear them carrying on the whole time. Not worth the price

Excellent hot springs, clean and well taken care of, a most beautiful landscape in which 16 hot water ponds are set in different sizes and different temperatures. We go every year and feel completely rejuvenated. Being in our sixties, it is a fantastic experience. We do it as a cure, stay 2 weeks and go every other day to let the body integrate in the off-day. Highly recommendable!

These are one of the best hot pools I've been to. Great natural surroundings and well maintained facilities. The hill top pool with 360 degree views is amazing. It does get busy so always make a booking before you go and try to avoid the busy times like on weekends.

Nice setting, many pools over a surprisingly large area and adequate changing and locker facilities. However, this is an Australian destination, so normal rules apply. That is: - signs requesting soft conversation and keeping quiet are hopelessly pointless with the foghorn voiced locals shouting at each other constantly. The cave pool was amazing, I had tinnitus for 30 minutes after spending a couple of minutes in here with a few other people. - you may think that the entrance fee is substantial enough, but then you need to pay extra for your locker rental (come on, do they really need the extra $2 off everyone), pay for a towel (take your own), pay for a robe - the cafe is overpriced, underquality and has lazy, hapless service - it isn't as clean as we foreign tourists would like. And I would echo the thoughts of others. When I visited, it was just too busy. Yes, they claim to limit numbers and we did need to book, but then they clearly book in too many people and some pools were constantly full. I visited fairly early in the morning, but I imagine if you go later in the day, it would be almost pointless. It could be a fantastic facility but, taking into account these issues, it really is only average.

From the outset this looked to be a great day spa as it is a beautiful setting and a nice modern facility. I drove all the way down to the springs with my brother to buy our father a gift voucher (spending around $300). The interior looked nicely furnished, but from the get go we were made to feel very out of place by the staff who looked down their nose at us. The lady at the counter was very brusque and rude and not friendly at all, even though we were there buying a gift voucher and spending, what for us was, a lot of money at the time. Really this makes me sound snarky, but it does take a lot to make me write one of these that are negative, and the way we were treated was like we were ants beneath their feet and not valuable like maybe some of their more wealthy clients are. I regularly like to buy family members gift vouchers for things like this for their birthdays/Christmas, but I shan't be going back here again.
