My wife and I booked a meal for 7-00pm 11/10/2013 and we were pleasantly surprised. The young lady (Bridget) who took our booking and showed us to our table was very polite and efficient. Ante who took our order and served us was very well mannered and his service was first class. The meal arrived after a very short while and was very enjoyable and to our liking. Highly recommended.

We came here for lunch to celebrate our engagement with our families and found it quite nice. the food was amazing, the wait staff could maybe be a little more friendly, we requested the band turn their music down as it was blaring and we were the only group in there. we will definitely be going back.

Service was terrible. We came here on NYE and it was not busy, less than a quarter full, yet the wait staff seemed more concerned with talking to each other than taking orders. We waited 20mins to get someone's attention to ask to move, to another table that wasn't under the a/c vent, and to order. Well they moved us no problem but then we sat waiting for another 30mins for someone to take our orders. Then after another 45+mins we got our entree and shortly after our mains. The baked brie entree and chirzo linguinie were very good, but the steak was just bad. Unevenly cooked (med-rare to well done in places) and was not seasoned at all. It was bland and tasted like hamburger meat. One waiter told us they'd been having complaints about their meat and were changing suppliers... I didn't know the supplier was the person who seasoned and cooked the steaks here. The poor service and horrible steak were enough to spoil the experience, will not be going back.

Visited for an anticipated nice breaky to start the day on Saturday morning Nov 6 , 2010. The Blackboard at entrance reveals "Friendly Staff" so thought they must have super friendly staff to actually go to the effort of writing this up. Well the staff were as friendly as a rabid dog to a lamb. Simply disinterested, not just one but all of them. Like :How dare you waltz in here and actually get me to do some work". I ordered a big breakky but asked for hollandaise sauce which they obviously have for the bennedict.Well the look I got, for asking something slightly not as per exact menu item. I got charged extra and I didnt even get it on both Breakfasts I ordered from. I dont think the computer handled this extra selection..Cmon its 2010 in the hospitality industry. The eggs were cold, Bacon was shrivelled to a burnt crisp and in fact could easily tell if had been lying around in a fridge or bench somewhere. Mushrooms had no flavour, no suaces available and no salt and pepper on tables. Service was quick (no wonder, we were one couple of 6 people in a restaurant that looks like it can cater for 250) but service was also almost verging on rude and should have been called the "Harvey Norman Waitress Crew" NO INTEREST. They did allow dogs which is nice, yet the dog even snubbed the shrivelled grotessque bacon pieces. The Kitchenhand (couldnt posssibly be a chef) may as well hang up the apron strings and go back to pulling knuckles out of Fish Fingers. This is backed up by hardly anybody in here on na sunny warm Saturday morning. If these guys want to compete with the best of the eateries in Glenelg then they better get a huge wriggle on in attitude and cooking attributes. The only thing this place is good for right now is a perfect candidate for a Ramsays Kitchen episode as Gordon himself would have a field day in here.
