Beautiful area to explore: The forest, bushwalks, D'Entrecasteaux National Park near Windy Harbour, Mount Chudalup rock south of Northcliffe, Pemberton area, Wineries etc. To those who complained about Easter weekend water problems: I was there just after Easter and the owner told me that naughty camp kids switched the pumps off which then ran dry with substantial damage to the pumps. He and his wife had their hands full with naughty kids during the night. They did their best. I have camped here many times, also stayed in the cabins, and always found the toilet blocks clean and the place good value for money. Lots of free roaming and tame kangaroos on the campsite - the kids love this. (I have no relationship with the owner, this is my own and unsolicited opinion)

This park does not live up to what it's website advertises, i.e. modern facilities. There are 4 toilets and showers which were totally inadequate for the Easter weekend. This was made worse when the water ran out and the toilets were unable to be flushed. A tanker of water was brought in to sort this out but way to late. No information coming to the campers from the owners which left a lot of angry, frustrated holidaymakers. Friends we were with have stayed there before and this sort of thing has happened before. May be okay to use this park when there is hardly anyone else there to overload the "modern facilities".

This tranquill little park is setteled amongst the tall karri forest and is central to every thing the south west has to offer. A quiet retreat away from the hussel and bussel of the big smoke. If you are looking for a place to forget about the rest of the world and RELAX this is the place for you, with access to swimming, fishing, orchid walks, walk trails, bike tracks, 400 year old karri trees and many historical sites (some of which were built by hand by the old settlers back in the late 1800s). Dont you think its time to just kick back in the company of the local native fauna in the quiet grassy settings of the QUINNINUP TOURIST PARK.....
