Great local place usually head down to enjoy a movie or two, the staff are usually delightful and the screen is usually quite a experience, great place A+ prices are sometimes over priced although that doesnt really matter due to the fact that its a place to watch new movies,

Went here on a Tuesday night to watch some a movie with the missus. Found the cinemas a little dated and probably needs a bit of a revamp. There was plenty of parking downstairs and great access for prams. Movies and coffee ended up being $50 for the night.

My partner and I have been to the Gold Lounge at Reading Cinemas a lot and every time we go there we have had a good experience. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating, a couple of times they have forgotten our second lot of drinks but when we told them they were very apologetic and were quick to give us our drinks. The seats are comfy and the view is excellent, If you can book to go with a group it would make for a fun time as they have a nice lounge in the gold bar that you can relax and enjoy entrees if you like. If you don't want to travel all the way to Rhodes when you live closer to Auburn area than you do Rhodes, then I suggest you give Reading Cinemas a try. The price is not too steep either. The only let down with Reading cinemas is their website, it always crashes when booking tickets online and the phones are either busy or take a while to be picked up. Apart from that, it is a nice place.
