Been out here for a bucks and a birthday party, both of which were great fun. Generally it is not as busy as Randwick so you can generally get a table out on the grass next to the track if you turn up an hour before the first race. Drinks are reasonable for about $7-8 a pop, bottles of sparkling are around $35. Watch out though as after 4pm they can only serve the sponsors (Chadon) which comes in at $48 a bottle.

A bit of a trek out of the city ($100 taxi ride!!) but a great venue for a girls' day out. Some punters go all out and dress up, but a large contingent remain pretty casual. Never a queue at the bar and friendly bookmakers mean a good time was had by all (especially when we picked the right horse!).
