Sampenny Boarding Kennels & Cattery

Had our two little dogs stay at Sampenny's over New Years for a week and I think they had more of a holiday than us!! The place has a nice peaceful atmosphere, I like the no frills approach to the place - 'doggy pamper packages or 'yard time'' etc may be a great (and expensive!) service most places offer but at the end of the day all I really wanted was a fun, safe and friendly environment for our two little babies. The owners did an amazing job at providing all this including time to run around, without any 'extra costs'. Id recommend this place as its affordable, close to the airport (we were able to leave our car at the kennels and they dropped us off and picked us up after our holiday, now that is service!!) and most importantly our dogs came home very happy....not a flea on them by the way ;p. Will be back

I would like to clarify some of the details of the below review. Honey was a very small dog so we only let her have playtime with our JR puppies, which were only 6 weeks old at the time. When the client rang with her complaint I had a vet on the premises giving the puppies their health check. I advised her that I would ask the vet to check the puppies and bedding and give her a report. She then rudely hung up on me. The vet gave the puppies an all clear health check with no flea problems and also checked the bedding. On the vet's report I did not refund her any fees. The main point I would like to make is that if you are using kennels and catteries please make time to organise an inspection before booking your pet in and make up your own minds - thanks - the owners.

Stayed here for a couple of weeks, barking at the passing planes, making new doggy friends, having a very nice time with these very nice people.
