I guess the above two reviews were written by restaurant's owner or well wishers. I have been to this restaurant with my girlfriend on our first anniversary and the only we found is couple of days old Rice and Kadai Paneer with atleast 3 to 4 tbsp of oil. On top of that when we told the staff about the bad state of rice; he actually tried to prove us wrong by saying; we are having hundreds of orders everyday and serving STALE food doesn't happens here. When we went to pay for our food; the same staff member who could be either the owner or the shareholder in the restaurant charged us 1.5% of SURCHARGE undee the name of service fee for using our Debit card. I want to make it clear here; that he pointed towards a piece of paper before processing the transaction which says about extras on credit cards only but but nothing for Debit cards. He was lucky that we didn't notice the tax invoice until we get home. We are not going back there and would recommend you fellows too to consider our experience before thinking of making a visit there...

Ordered spicy food takeaway, but got uneatable amount of red chilli thrown on the top of nicely prepared food. I have managed all level of spicy foods before, but need not to say that there is a last limit of putting spice in a food, until I am not up for making guinness book record of eating spices. thanks for ruining our evening.

I've eaten at four of the Tandoori Place Indian restaurants on the Gold Coast and they never fail to deliver. I work in Surfers Paradise and regularly visit with friends, colleagues and business acquaintances for lunch and it is just great food. I have never eaten there where I or any of the people dining with me would question the quality, always delicious. Lots of great dishes but my personal favourite is the Chicken Tikka Masala and the garlic naan bread is superb.

False advert got us there, although we made a booking bt when we arrived, no staff greeted us nd the one who came later had no smile wht so ever. Tandoori chicken was as bland as, had no flavour what so ever, ordered butter chicken which was again tasteless, full of cream nd no seasoning. Another Bhuna bakra tasted only like potato. Couldn't taste anything except our Brown brothers. We had to leave that place nd food nd resorted to McDonald's that night. I will never go there again. That place is a ripoff. Desi food lovers, my word, it's definitely not worth anything.

The best Indian I have tasted ever and the Restuarant itself is very classy and unlike any Indian Restuarant I have been too. Have just good words for service too. Thanks
